The Open Catalog Interface (OCI) / Punchout establishes a direct connection between the customer's purchasing system and the vendor's e-commerce site, enabling direct access to the supplier's product catalog without the need to enter any login credentials.

How does the OCI connection work?

Through the OCI/Punchout interface, the company can use all the advanced features of the Würth e-Shop directly from its own e-procurement system, greatly simplifying the B2B procurement process.

Once you have connected your system to the Würth online shop, you can put products straight into your cart, which will automatically transfer to your management system with the relevant data (quantity, price, shipping addresses, cost centres, multilevel permissions, etc.) included.

The order is then processed and checked for authorizations, budget, etc. Finally, it is transmitted to Würth to dispatch the goods.
